Appelson Woodworks, our cabinetry division, is a small, hands-on shop, designing and building handmade cabinetry. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, and millwork and pride ourselves on providing our clients with solutions that address their needs, aesthetics and budget.

Appelson Design Studio, our new custom and studio furniture division developed as an outgrowth of our work with clients over the years. Built in our shop in the Catskill mountains, this new body of work explores a weave of rhythm, repetition, and texture. The pieces may be customized with changes in material, finish, and dimension.

Peter Appelson, founder of the company, is involved in every job from conception to completion. Trained both as a sculptor and in the craft of old-world furniture building, Peter brings this background along with his unique problem-solving ability to every project he takes on. With two decades of design-and-build experience under his belt, we can effectively take idea to reality, giving close attention every step of the way.
